For GWH to be the recipient of the Apartment Development of the Year Award at the recent Master Builders Association Excellence in Building Annual Gala Night, not only is it a great honour for the business on a project that we were already so proud of, but more importantly wonderful recognition to the dedication, hard work and expertise our teams demonstrate day in and day out on our projects.
Aero was a real labour of love for the guys and girls of Team Aero. Together with our close nit group of preferred trade partners and our vertically integrated family of companies in the Hunter Group, they collectively went above and beyond, achieved 6 day cycles through the floor plates and delivered the 15 storey tower in only 12 months, whilst maintaining the quality GWH expects. This Landmark now really does speak for itself in the Newcastle skyline.
Aero was developed and built by GWH, the Apartment Development of the Year Award highlights how well Aero was delivered in built form, a confidence we had from the outset and why we moved our head office into the commercial space below. Greeting happy owner occupiers in Aero’s lobby, or the many repeat clients in one of our other local development display suites affirms to us that we got it right in a Development sense also.
