ONE Apartments May Construction Update

Excitement is building at ONE Apartments as the team prepare to construct the level 4 transfer slab, commonly referred to as the podium level.

The podium level transfer slab will house the pool, sauna, and many communal spaces at ONE and is integral in the buildings structural integrity as it separates the building into lower and upper sections. The lower floors require a stronger structural system to accommodate long open spans and provide enhanced sound and fire protection for areas such as retail spaces and parking. Using post-tensioned cast in-place construction for these transfer slabs offers several benefits due to the solid concrete separation including fire and sound protection.

The team is also preparing to pour the final carpark ramp, the final insitu core walls, and preparing for permanent power. Blockwork is also underway on the Ground Floor as we start to create the separate spaces and tenancies.
