Macquarie Tower October Construction Update

Progress and Milestones!

Exciting progress continues at Macquarie Tower, with the team working tirelessly despite weather-related challenges. We are pleased to report that even with some setbacks, we remain on track to achieve several exciting milestones including the completion of the structural phase of construction in November, and the commencement of our first residential floor fit-out works on Level 8. 

This is a significant achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of our site teams and trusted partners over the past year.

WHAT'S HAPPENING ONSITE:

  • Fit-out teams are advancing rapidly on the lower commercial floors 
  • Level 3: the Hive childcare centre is taking shape, with floor coverings, tiling, and joinery now being installed 
  • Levels 4 and 5: cold shell fit-outs completed  
  • Level 6: installation of signature stairs for an impressive three-storey atrium  
  • Level 7: Pulse Mining fit-out is taking shape, with wall framing and service rough-ins 
  • Level 13: Finalising formwork installation 

WHAT'S COMING UP NEXT ONSITE: 

  • Topping out the structure by November, weather permitting 
  • Installation of the glazed façade 
  • Commence framing of residential apartments
