GWH was contracted by The Bloomfield Group to design and construct a high grade workshop facility for the Rix's Creek Mine in Singleton. The industrial workshop needed to cater to the maintenance of all mine vehicles, specifically the 350t Coal Dump Truck, Graders and Dozers.
Imperative to the 1350m2 workshops design, the concrete floor needed to be capable of supporting the required jacking load for 350t Coal Dump Truck. The design also incorporated a 20t crane and 5 vertical sliding doors for drive through access.
GWH also undertook the upgrade to existing services as required to support the operation of the new facility.
