Macquarie Tower June Construction Update

The team at Macquarie Tower have hit some significant milestones over the last few months completing the largest single level pour of the development. 750m3 of concrete was delivered to site and the pour took approximately 80 Hunter Readymixed Concrete trucks poured into 45 tonne of steel.

With the deck on Level 5 now poured too, Hunter Precast is installing precast walls in preparation for Level 6. On the lower levels, the basement and ground floor entry ramp are now complete, ensuring easier site access. For the commercial tenants, the end-of-trip facilities are progressing quickly with block work, metal framing, and various installations underway.

We anticipate the first of the five lifts to be delivered in early June, initiating extensive installation activity on-site. Prepare to witness our building reach new heights - quite literally!

For an update on all the progress, hear from Project Manager Michael May.

WHAT'S HAPPENING ONSITE:

  • Completing the end-of-trip on the Ground floor
  • Basement levels have been stripped back.
  • Preparation underway to pour Level 6
  • The first of 5 lifts is due for delivery in early June

A shoutout to our amazing teams, preferred partners, and vertically integrated companies from Hunter Windows, Hunter Precast, and Hunter Readymixed concrete. Their dedication is the driving force behind our progress, and we couldn't do it without them.
